Welcome Reception

Sunday, 2nd of July 2017, 17:00-19:00.

The Welcome Reception will take place in Franciscan Monastery.
The monastery was erected in 1237 and it is the only monastery in Poland which continuously exist to our times. The monastery church was consecrated in 1249. Over the centuries both the monastery and the church were destroyed several times by fires and warfares, however they were rebuilt every time. Currently, some of the monastery halls are hosting classical music concerts, cultural events and conferences.

We kindly ask you to register before coming to the Welcome Reception.
The registration desk will be located at the Conference Venue and open from 14:00 to 17:00.
There will be no registration desk at the Welcome Reception.

Guided Krakow Tour with beer tasting

Monday, 3rd of July 2017, 18:30-22:00.

The meeting place for guided Krakow tour is located in front of the Welcome Reception entrance.
We kindly ask you to be on site before 18:30.

Krakow historic center is on the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The St. Florian Gate, main Market Square with Sukiennice Cloth Hall and St. Mary Basilica, Wawel Hill with Wawel Castle are the most famous and astonishing sights along the Royal Road - Polish kings way of the coronation processions.
The guided tour will allow you to discover this magnificent places and learn old legends and history of the most beautiful parts of the Old Town.


The tour ends with sightseeing of the old Lubicz Brewery, along with beer tasting.
Lubicz Brewery was founded in 1840 by the Swiss brew master Rudolf Jenny. Beer was brewed there almost continuously for 160 years, up to 2001 when the brewery was closed for logistical and ecologic issues due to its location within the city center. Ten years after closure, the reconstruction of a deteriorated area of the post-industrial district was started. In September 2015 a restaurant with microbrewery, Browar Lubicz, revived the tradition of beer brew.

Conference Tour - Wieliczka Salt Mine

Wednesday, 5th of July 2017, 16:00-19:00.

The meeting point for bus transfer to Conference Tour and Conference Dinner is located at the parking lot across the street from the Conference Venue. The bus transfer starts at 16:30, please be on site at 16:00.
The Conference Tour starts at 17:30 at Danilowicz Shaft in Wieliczka.

Magnificent chambers chiseled out in rock salt. Amazing underground saline lakes, majestic timber constructions and unique statues sculpted in salt. Almost 3 kilometres of meandering corridors at the depth of 135 meters underground.

Conference Dinner

Wednesday, 5th of July 2017, 20:00-22:30 (after the Conference Tour).

The Conference Dinner will be held at Folwark Zalesie.

A completely different world, though located just 25 km away from the Main Market in Krakow and 10 km away from the Salt Mine in Wieliczka, towards Dobczyce. You can reach us by going along a beautiful scenic route via Wielickie Plateau. The Zalesie Manor Complex is located on a hill with a view of all the Beskidy Mountains, with beautiful Babia Góra, Dobczycki Reservoir and the Tarta Mountains in the background. The buildings are surrounded by forests, fields and meadows.
